Meet Our Consultants

Zayne Ashley

Zayne Ashley is a senior biology major with minors in psychology and English writing from Bismarck, Arkansas. In his free time, he enjoys writing, nature photography, collecting Blu-rays, and spending time with his dog, Joel. After graduating he plans to pursue a master’s degree in Entomology and go on to work in the field of wildlife biology.

Ashton Arnold

Ashton Arnold is a junior English and political science double major from Benton, Arkansas. Outside of classes, she loves photography with old cameras, thrifting with friends, and spending time with her cats. She plans on attending law school after graduating and pursuing a career in family law.

Alex Browning

Alex Browning is a senior biology and chemistry double-major from Pine Bluff, Arkansas. When not studying or in class, he enjoys hiking and mountain biking at Lake DeGray and Iron Mountain. Other hobbies include reading, blacksmithing, music, and movies! He enjoys reading science fiction and philosophy books the most. After graduating from Ouachita, Alex plans to attend dental school to pursue a career in general dentistry.

Sydney Burton

Sydney Burton is a junior biology and criminal justice double major from Little Rock, Arkansas. She likes to play pickleball and be outdoors, and when she’s not busy studying, she loves to hang out with her friends. After she graduates, Sydney hopes to get her master’s degree in forensics and work her way up to a career in crime scene investigation.

Owen Dodd

Owen Dodd is a junior from Queen City, Texas pursuing a degree in music industry. He is remarkably passionate about his quaint vinyl collection, the power of common sense, and dancing outrageously when given the chance. If you see him shuffling around campus with his signature coffee mug, he is probably on his way to practice piano, write in the Stu, or invite himself into his friends’ dorm rooms. After college, Owen plans to begin work by exploring the world of record deals, while still fueling his fantastic dreams about becoming a producer in his more experienced years.

Reese Hargrove is a junior English and secondary education double-major from Little Rock, Arkansas. She loves to tutor at the Elrod Center, hang out with friends, take naps, and go on walks in her free time. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a master’s degree in literacy and eventually teach high school students.

Nate Hollis

Nate Hollis is a sophomore communications and writing double major from Little Rock Arkansas. He enjoys broadcasting with Ouachita Sports Digital Network (OSDN), D&D, fantasy novels, story writing, and video games. After graduating he intends to find a career in TV broadcasting and possibly pursue a master's degree. Most of all, he eventually wants to publish some sort of media, like a podcast or YouTube channel, playing games with his friend.

Emma Mackey

Emma Mackey is a senior biology and Spanish double major from Fort Smith, Arkansas. She adores writing and studying language, spending much of her free time composing various essays while mastering her Spanish. Hobbies aside from writing include making lattes, watching movies, drawing, and putting together outfits. Following graduation, Emma plans to teach English in Korea and look into potential grad schools.

Callie Moore

Callie Moore is a junior secondary education and English major from Sherwood, Arkansas. In her spare time (when she has it), she loves to crochet, read, and go to as many concerts as possible. You can catch her in the Bugtruck or yearbook room most of the time. She hopes to relocate following graduation to pursue her dream of teaching English at the high school level.

Glenna Ratcliff is a senior English editing major from Little Rock, Arkansas. Her hobbies include reading, crocheting, napping, and cuddling with her cat. As of right now, she is planning to pursue an online master’s degree in library and information science after graduation.

Rickey Rogers, Jr.

Rickey Rogers, Jr. is a senior English and education double-major with minors in coaching and communications from Arkadelphia, Arkansas. When not studying or in class, he plays fullback for the Ouachita Tiger football team. His other hobbies include reading, working out, and hanging out with friends and family. After graduating from Ouachita, Rickey plans on teaching English and coaching high school football and wrestling.
