Ouachita is proud to be home to a diverse community of international students, missionary kids and third culture kids, all of whom enrich the OBU community in their own unique ways.
All students coming to OBU from other countries, whether as international students, MKs or TCKs, come through the Grant Center during the admissions process. The Grant Center also serves as a resource to them throughout their time at Ouachita.

Ouachita also emphasizes the importance of global perspective by offering more than a dozen study abroad opportunities around the world. In today's increasingly interconnected world, international education is an important part of a well-rounded, liberal arts education.
The Grant Center coordinates study abroad programs for Ouachita students with institutions on nearly every continent. The center also partners with OBU's Campus Ministries and Pruet School of Christian Studies to provide international missions opportunities each year.

Welcome to the Daniel & Betty Jo Grant Center For International Education at Ouachita
Baptist University.
I am glad you have chosen to visit us, and I encourage you to browse the various opportunities we offer for international education.
The Grant Center is named in honor of Dr. and Mrs. Daniel Grant. Dr. Grant was president of Ouachita from 1970-1988. This center provides students and faculty opportunities to experience international study both on campus and abroad. We work actively to recruit and admit students from various countries worldwide. Ouachita is proud to host dozens of students with an international background, including international students, missionary kids and third culture kids.
