About

I have a wide range of interests and teaching responsibilities from Logic to Ancient Philosophy to Christian Ethics to Philosophy of Religion and have developed a Death and Dying class unique among philosophy departments. Hobbies include whitewater kayaking, racquetball and outdoor recreation. We love to share our small lake near Arkadelphia with OBU students.

What do you like most about your field?

As much as I enjoy teaching all my classes, one-on-one conversations with students in my office or around campus are even better. My goal is to help students love God with their minds, to think deeply and well about life.
