About
Judy serves as the director for the Elrod Center. She provides leadership and vision
for the center and oversees volunteer opportunities in the community for students,
faculty and staff. She oversees Tiger Serve Day and the Tiger Serve Day Leadership
Team, ElderServe, Healthy Relationships Week, Elrod Center Student Interns, Elrod
Faculty Fellows and TranServe.
Judy graduated from Ouachita with a degree in sociology in 1982 and has worked at
the Elrod Center since 1997. She is married to Scott Duvall and they enjoy spending
time with their family, travel, reading great books and enjoying the outdoors.

What do you like most about your field?
One of my goals at the Elrod Center is to introduce service as a way of life to the
student body with the idea that this way of life will continue long after graduation.
I love to see students experience the joy of giving their lives away to others and
to God.
